Sing With Us
WELCOME
An invitation to you: Are you the Caruso or Beverly Sills of the shower? Can you sing Happy Birthday? If so, don't be content to sit back and listen; you are welcome to come and "ring a few chords" with the Arlingtones Barbershop Chorus! Clear out the lungs, tune up the pipes, and join us and make some good friends! START SINGING RIGHT AWAY! Interested visitors are welcome to sit in with us any Monday night. You will get a guest book that contains all our current music. We recommend most newcomers begin with the Lead section (melody). |

- The Bass is the foundation of the Barbershop chord. It requires vocal strength and range to hit the lower notes.
- The Lead is a middle range part which sings the melody. Many singers begin as Leads but later move to another section more suitable to their voice and range.
- The Baritone is middle range and mostly harmony notes. It is the most difficult and important part.
- The Tenor is the highest voice and completes the classic 4-part harmony of a Barbershop song. Most Tenors sing in a falsetto voice and must have a good ear to keep the pitch in tune.
