Bio on the North 40 quartet:
North 40 is a foursome of guys with varying backgrounds that came together to create some wonderful sounds:
-John is the lead and has a wealth of barbershop experience. He has won 2 Illinois District championships and has performed with a number of choruses, currently serving as the director of the Arlingtones. During the day, John tastes food for a living. Sounds rough, doesn’t it?
-Jason is the tenor, originally from Arizona. He’s been singing his whole life and started his barbershop life with the Rock River Valley Barbershop Chorus. He’s sung with a few quartets since joining and works as a dean at one of the local Elementary schools in Sterling.
-The young dude is Matt, who has a load of talent and a lot of energy. He teaches music at the Junior High level and sings bass in the quartet. He recently earned his pilot’s license but has yet to take the quartet up in the wild blue yonder, thank the lord!
-Tim is the baritone struggling with being the oldest member of a quartet for the first time in his life, but he’s also having a lot of fun! He’s a four-time district champion in Illinois and works as a computer nerd in the HR department of their local hospital.
