                                                      Chorducopia

This newly formed quartet gets its name from the Latin root word meaning abundance.  Case in point, an abundance of sound  or in the vernacular,"chords-a-plenty." Chorducopia's concentration is comprised of love songs made popular in the 50's and 60's, with a few old chestnuts thrown in for good measure.  Even though as a quartet, we are in our infancy stage, we have a combined barbershop experience of fifty-five years.  Under the tutelage of Jack Musich, lead Dave King, baritone Al Thorstenson and bass Steve Cargill are learning the finer points of quartet singing.
Should your ever want to add that special barbershop sound to an important day, event, or moment, don't hesitate to call Choroucopia.  We are available for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, bachelorette parties, arrest warrents, weddings, funerals, and Ground Hog Day celebrations.  No fee is too great...no party too small!

And finally,-

Don't be content to sit back and listen.  Tune up the pipes, clear out the lungs, and come and join us any Monday night at  7:00 PM.  All meetings except for the second Monday of each month are held at the American Legion Hall on the corner of  Douglas and Miner Streets in Arlington Heights.
On the second Monday, we meet at the Prospect Heights Community Church, 400 North Elmhurst Road (83), between Palatine Road and Camp MacDonald Road in Prospect Heights. Are you the Caruso of the shower? Can you sing Happy Birthday?  If so, you are welcome to come and ring a few chords with the Arlingtones.
