September 22, 2007. The Arlingtones Fall Show was the place to be. The Red Hat Ladies graced us with their presence and seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Both a boy's and a girl's quartet from Barrington High School performed on the show. The girls' coach, Jarmella Speta,  also sang "Lida Rose" with one of our chapter quartets, Class Ring.

On Thanksgiving Day 2007, the Arlingtones had the pleasure of singing for some of the sailors from the Great Lake's Naval Training Station.  We have done this for the past several years. It is one of our more personally satisfying sing outs.

The Arlingtones, under the direction of Ron Arden, give it their all.  It was a great evening with something for everyone.  If you didn't make it this year, keep us in mind for next fall.

For these sailors, it is the first time away from base for about six weeks. Hosted by the Arlington Heights American Legion, the sailors enjoy big screen TV football, video games, pool, a free call home, a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, just relaxing, and, of course, music by the Arlingtones.
