The Barbershop Harmony Society (previously The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America, SPEBQSA) exists to promote barbershop quartet singing.  The Arlingtones Barbershop Chorus is no exception. We love to sing in quartets, some for our own amusement and others to entertain. Some exist for a matter of weeks and others go on for months. One of our chapter quartets has been singing since Valentine's Day 2001.  Many quartets are pick-up spur of the moment quartets that sing together after practice.  Whatever, it's always fun.
