The Arlingtones have always been supporters of the music departments of our local high schools.  We  have invested a great deal of time, effort, and financial support in bringing the joys of music to many who might otherwise have never had the opportunity to "ring" a chord.  For the last three years, we have been pleased to have the Sweet Adelines participate in this event with us  and give of their time and very considerable talent in extending the pleasure of barbertshop singing to the high school girls. Our thanks to all those who helped make this event a success.
We would like to give a special note of thanks to all of the high school educators for allowing us the opportunity to work with their students.  It has been a wonderful experience for all of us.  We look forward to a long and fruitful association. It is our privilege to be of service to you and support your music programs.

Contests, although they give a certain impetus to learning, take a back seat to the joys of singing, especially when the lyrics of the song are understandable, the tunes are singable, and you can do it with your friends. As far as the Arlingtones are concerned, we feel that all the young people that participated in the contest were winners. Their enthusiasm, their energy, and their talent, made this a very enjoyable day.
